Dahna Pasternak has over 25 years of intellectual property experience in the areas of all areas of patent prosecution, including reexaminations as well as portfolio management and advice, due diligence reviews, infringement opinions, validity opinions and freedom to operate analyses. Dahna’s clients include biotech companies, universities, and pharmaceutical corporations.

Dahna has created significant patent portfolios for her clients, including in the area of gene therapy, immunology, and imaging. Dahna also provides strategic counseling to clients to allow her clients to navigate the competitive patent landscape in both the U.S. and Internationally.

Dahna founded Pasternak Patent Law in 2012. Prior to that Dahna was a partner at Robins & Pasternak LLP and an associate at Morrison & Foerster.

Dahna received a J.D. from Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California at Berkeley, a Masters of Science in Neurosciences from the University of California, San Diego and a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences from Stanford University. Dahna also has laboratory experience, having worked at the Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation prior to law school.
